Todd Piersol, Executive Vice President, is proud to announce that Brown & Brown of Detroit raised $1,750 for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society during their fourth quarter Blue Jean Day fundraiser. Every Friday, the office’s 70+ teammates have the option of wearing blue jeans to work in exchange for a $5 donation to the non-profit of the quarter.

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body. The National MS Society helps each person affected by MS address the challenges of living with the disease. They help by raising funds for cutting-edge research, driving change through advocacy, facilitating professional education, and providing programs and services that empower people with MS and their families to move their lives forward.

For the first quarter of 2019, Brown & Brown of Detroit has chosen to raise money for the Coalition on Temporary Shelter (COTS). For nearly 35 years, COTS has served the most vulnerable in our community.
