No prior insurance experience is required as we provide industry leading, proprietary insurance sales and technical product training to all new hires.

This individual will be primarily responsible for selling commercial lines insurance products including Property, Automobile, Liability, Workers Compensation, Professional, Cyber, etc. as well as advising the client/prospect on other risk management solutions. Additional duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Actively and consistently pursue new prospect appointments through various outreach strategies
  • Renew existing clients annually
  • Establish strong relationships with clients and create referral networks
  • Participate in professional development activities
  • Development of market or product expertise in a specific industry
  • Ability to cross sell clients with other insurance divisions within the agency
  • Effectively coordinate with account management and support teams
  • Maintain trust and working relationships with various insurance carrier partners
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of successful B2B sales experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Windows Suite
  • Highly competitive with a strong desire to succeed
  • Financially motivated, entrepreneurial spirit
  • Detailed and analytical
  • Excellent verbal / presentation skills
  • Ability to daytime travel
  • This position requires routine or periodic travel which may require the teammate to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle. Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are a requirement of this position
  • Active Florida 2-20 Insurance License, or ability to obtain it within 60 days of employment
