Brown & Brown Premier is growing and seeking an exceptional individual with proven discipline, and commitment to join our team as an Sales Coordinator. PREMIER is a division of Brown & Brown that provides sales and service of consumer insurance (auto, homeowner’s and more) to our clients/customers in Florida. 

The Sales Coordinator will focus on sales of auto, homeowners, and other personal line insurance products to consumers.  This position involves mostly inbound prospects, but also some outbound calls to existing clients where there are opportunities to round the account.  Provide prospective customers/clients with all services offered, and additional presentations as needed. Work with client to create solutions for their needs and consult through the sales process. Must be energetic, well-spoken, and eager to close sales and increase revenue.

Responsibilities:

  • Taking multiple inbound calls from potential clients
  • Understanding client needs and offering insurance solutions and support
  • Researching potential leads from business directories, web searches, or digital resources
  • Qualifying leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, tradeshows, etc.
  • Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospect clients
  • Presenting and delivering information to potential clients
  • Answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions
  • Tracking weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics
  • Building pipelines with channel partners and team members to close sales
  • Maintaining database (AMS 360, Excel, etc.) of prospective client information
  • Closing sales and working with client through closing process
  • Make outbound calls to existing customers where opportunities exist to expand/round out accounts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills

  • 2+ years experience working in Personal Insurance Lines in sales or customer service
  • 4-40 or 2-20, or 2044 P&C License
  • Boat Coverage Sales experience highly preferred
  • Exceptional telephone demeanor, solid phone skills and oral communication, speaking clearly and persuasively in all situations
  • High School Diploma or GED minimum, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Competencies needed include being: organized, efficient, adaptable, and having strong interpersonal skills
