Job Summary

Pillar Rx Consulting is seeking an Audit Account Executive to build and maintain audit and consulting relationships. The Account Executive ensures client satisfaction by acting as a knowledgeable representative of products and services from an operational standpoint. Responsibilities include acting as the liaison and resource for all client related matters.

Essential Duties and Functions:

  • Responsible for surveying the industry and determining how PillarRx can best service clients with their auditing needs
  • Work with internal teams to conceive and deliver new viable audit products for the industry
  • Assist with new business growth goals and track the fulfillment of such goals
  • Actively participate in the sales and marketing of our services to prospective clients
  • Draft and manage new contracts with clients for auditing services requested
  • Maintain contact to ensure that clients are informed of operations as necessary and maintain a high touch relationship to ensure client needs are met consistently
  • Complete contract reviews as part of audit services provided to clients
  • Distribute audit reports with relevant and actionable observations and recommendations
  • Review audit reports with clients and their Leadership team and/or Board
  • Act as the project lead for new client projects and/or internal projects
  • Provide industry expertise to internal team members and internal projects as needed
  • Promote teamwork and collaboration with all team members to help support Auditing clients
  • This position will include job duties that require risk designations for access to Electronic Protected Health Information (PHI) in the course of their job responsibilities
  • Other duties may be assigned

Required Skills

Required:

  • Minimum of one to five years’ work experience in healthcare or health insurance fields, with a focus on pharmacy related or PBM activities
  • Ability to build and maintain strong, collaborative working relationships with multiple business units across the company and direct experience with presenting to Client’s C-Suite
  • Experience in reviewing data and pricing components of pharmacy claims
  • Experience with reviewing PBM client contracts
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Available to travel, as needed

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in business or related field; Associate degree and/or two years Customer Service experience in the pharmacy benefits field.
