Job Summary


To provide technical and clerical support for the Commercial Account Managers in servicing commercial lines clients.

Essential Duties and Functions:  include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Review and implement Commercial Lines Processing Procedures in order to:
    • Reduce E&O potential liabilities
    • Incorporate the capabilities of the computer system into your daily workflow
    • Increase your utilization of the agency management system
    • Streamline your workflow and that of your appointed team members
  • Follow agency commercial lines procures for processing:
    • Certificates of Insurance
    • MVR’s
    • Auto ID cards
    • Policies, endorsements cancellations and related policy documents, including documenting in AMS360 and Image Right, invoicing, closing out open activities, sending to insureds
    • Correspondence from insureds, carriers, brokers, etc. as assigned
    • Paper & system file maintenance, including filing and attaching of documents
    • Policy Delivery Books creation
    • Rating via carrier systems of policies, endorsements
    • Claims reporting and monitoring

Required Skills


  • High School Diploma
  • Computer literate
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Exceptional telephone demeanor
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality


  • 2-3 years Commercial Lines Insurance Office Experience or as Customer Service Representative
  • Florida 440 or 220 Property and Casualty Insurance License
  • Maintain or obtain advanced insurance designations
