Brown & Brown Insurance is seeking am part time Employee Benefits Assistant to join our Insurance Marketing Team in Portland, Oregon! This is a PART TIME role.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Provide administrative support to the Employee Benefits Marketing Analysts
  • Update the current Annual Cost Comparisons for each client
  • Input renewal information, rates, and plans into clients’ Annual Cost Comparisons
  • Update Small Group medical plan templates with new and revised plans
  • Peer review Annual Cost Comparisons and employee benefit guides for accuracy
  • Maintain Marketing carrier contact list
  • Maintain library of Small Group medical plans in SharePoint and BenefitPoint plan library
  • Verify that the BenefitPoint renewal calendar matches the Marketing calendar, monthly
  • Assist with marketing Xenium renewals
  • Ensure all RFP materials are filed in ImageRight
  • Update AM Best ratings within the RFP Tracking form and renewal report templates
  • Conduct an appropriate level of confidentiality of information processed
  • Attend training sessions, courses, etc. to maintain up-to-date skills and licensing requirements
  • Duties are done independently or in a team environment
  • Other duties or special projects may be assigned

 

Required Skills

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • 1+ years of office administration experience
  • Previous Employee Benefits experience a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365
  • Ability to read, write, and speak in English
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
