We are seeking an Insurance Customer Service Representative in the New Orleans area to join our team. This individual could work out of any of our offices in the NOLA area. The Customer Service Representative will provide support for Property & Casualty and Life & Health customer accounts and transactions.

Essential Duties and Functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Assist producers in Marketing New Accounts and Renewals
• Handle carrier/client correspondence as dictated in company workflow
• Maintaining client files (electronic and paper as required)
• Month End Procedures as needed
• Processing applications and change forms
• Processing Applications/Quoting
• Providing Customer Service
• Assisting with receptionist duties
• Preparing AORs and forwarding to carriers
• Preparing Top Gun Reports for New Sales, AORs, and lost business
• Preparing New Account and Renewal Proposals
• Assistance with submission of New Business and follow up on outstanding requirements
• Assist Accounting Department with accounts receivables as defined
• Development and assisting with Company advertising/marketing as needed
• Development of Carrier/Company/Client correspondence projects as needed

Required Skills

HS Diploma or GED at minimum

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Exceptional telephone demeanor
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• 1 – 3 years experience in a similar position
• License or Designation (Life & Health and Property & Casualty)

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a business or financial related discipline or commensurate
