We are currently seeking a Sales Producer to join our Employee Benefits team in Saginaw, MI. The Producer is responsible for setting appointments with new prospects, as well as servicing current clients. The Producer will present marketing presentations, renewals, as well as other insurance products. They will attend trainings from carriers, industry leaders, and internal teammates to stay up to date on industry trends.

Essential Duties and Functions include the following:  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Attend all sales meetings, at the office and off-site.
  • Sales and renewal presentations to prospects and clients
  • Marketing to new and existing clients
  • New business prospecting
  • Assist in employee education and open enrollment meetings
  • Facilitate in scheduling and attending trade shows
  • Networking
  • Familiar with the Agency Management System and all related websites.
  • Successfully complete all educational courses or professional designation courses as may be required by your PCL.
  • Be accountable to the department manager for attendance and work performance.
  • Develop relationships with insurance company underwriters.
  • Attend insurance company sponsored events as directed by manager.
  • All other duties as assigned

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Michigan Producer License
  • Exceptional telephone demeanor
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or financial related discipline
