Job Summary
Brown & Brown of New York is growing and we are looking for someone to join our Employee Benefits sales team. We offer our sales executives an opportunity to join a dynamic team with a tradition of success. Our results-based, decentralized company culture provides unlimited income potential for entrepreneurial salespeople. This is a base salary plus commission, benefits eligible opportunity.
You will sell group health insurance products including Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Critical Illness, Life, Long Term Care, etc. Additional responsibilities include :
- Pursue new prospect appointments through different outreach strategies
- Renew existing clients annually
- Establish relationships with clients and create referral networks
- Participate in professional development activities
- Manage onsite enrollment meetings with customer’s employees
- Cross sell clients with other insurance divisions within the agency
- Coordinate with account management and support teams
- Maintain trust and working relationships with multiple insurance carrier partners
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Valid NY Health & Life License
- 3+ years’ experience with benefit sales
Preferred:
- ChHC, CEBS, REBC or CLU designation(s)
