Job Summary

Brown & Brown Inc. is looking for a Conversion Data Analyst to join our growing team in Daytona Beach, FL. This role is engaged in all steps of the conversion process acting as an assistant to the Conversion Leader.  The have a primary responsibility of ensuring data accuracy throughout the entire process.

 

Essential Duties and Functions: include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

 

  • Generate reports as requested, analyze and communicate results.
  • Prepare excel workbooks needed throughout the conversion process.
  • Filter and “clean” data by reviewing reports and workbooks to locate and correct problems.
  • Review multiple versions of data to ensure accuracy.
  • Monitor the flow of data, checking for accuracy and completeness.
  • Map data from previous retail management system through conversion portal.
  • Update data post-conversion.
  • Be engaged on all calls, discern what applies to the conversion and apply that knowledge to the process.
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.

Required Skills

Required:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Very detail oriented with ability to self-prioritize
  • Ability to meet needs in a timely and professional manner
  • Must have strong analytic and quantitative reasoning and enjoy problem solving; attention to detail and quality assurance required
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

Preferred:

  • Experience with one or all of the following products: AMS360, EPIC, BenefitPoint, ZyWave, ImageRight/WorkSmart
  • Strong Excel skills
