Brown & Brown Insurance in Pryor, OK is seeking a Claims Manager to provide efficient and effective insurance claims service.  This includes ensuring that all claims related matters are dealt within a timely manner, specialist advise and support for all insurance claims related matter.

Job Functions & Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsibility for the administration of all insurance claims. This includes handling claims calls from insured’s, turning claims in to the companies in a timely manner, follow up for clients, agents and account managers
  • Face to face claim meetings with clients.
  • Monthly office meetings in Pryor office.
  • Order modifier from NCCI when needed for claims review
  • Promulgate experience modifier using Zywave which includes ordering the loss runs and using the ModMaster program.
  • Work on open claims and reducing reserves.
  • Put together claims report for agents to meet clients.
  • Occasional call ins for Monday morning meetings.
  • Handles complex processing and claim situations with client and/or company personnel.
  • Performs other specific duties and projects as assigned by the Officers.

Required Skills

Required:

  • Minimum education required
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Exceptional telephone demeanor
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • 1 – 3 years’ experience in a similar position
  • P&C License
  • This position requires routine or periodic travel which may require the teammate to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle.  Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are a requirement of this position.

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in a business or financial related discipline
