Job Summary

Winston Benefits, a Brown & Brown company, is seeking a Business Intelligence and Reporting Analyst to join our team! The Business Intelligence and Reporting Analyst will serve as an integral part of the data maintenance, integrity improvement, analysis and reporting team to design and develop metrics, reports, analyses, and business analytics to drive key business decisions.

As we work with clients across the country, we are happy to offer this position as a fully remote opportunity or locally in our office in Manasquan, NJ.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other departments to create meaningful, substantive Power BI Dashboards
  • Support the development of standard reports and create custom client reports as needed.
  • Work with internal and external business users to assess, define, and develop report deliverables to meet internal and customer requirements
  • Help design appropriate data repository and reporting tools that will be used to organize, analyze, and report data
  • Query databases to extract information needed to develop reports
  • Compile data and other information from multiple data sources
  • Interpret, analyze and provide recommendations regarding data accuracy and data collection needs and processes
  • Work with business units to identify opportunities to enhance existing and to develop new data information processes and tools
  • Continuously assess and improve data collection and reporting processes
  • Assist staff members with more complex and detailed projects including root cause analyses, trended reporting and analyses which support continuous quality improvement leading to actionable information
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related duties as needed

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
  • At least three years’ experience using SSRS, SSMS, and Power BI creating tabular reports, dashboards, and visualizations
  • Previous experience in Business Analytics, data analysis and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of initiatives or projects with the ability to lead and facilitate business requirements and data analysis and modeling sessions.
  • Required technology experience:
    • Power BI
    • SSRS
    • SSMS
    • MS SQL Server 2008 R2 to 2017
    • T-SQL

Salary Range

Negotiable, depending on professional experience.
