Job Summary

Due to our continued growth Brown & Brown of KY, Inc has an immediate opening to join our team. Brown & Brown is a leader in training for Sales, Service and F&I for Automotive, RV and powersports dealerships across the country. Our team drives results for dealers by implementing our Proactive Selling System. We are winning new dealership business with our deep commitment to training and development.

We only hire individuals with heavy management experience in retail automotive with a passion for training. The right candidate will have a track record of success. They will have the ability to work equally as well independently or as a member of a team. The retail automotive business is increasingly challenging and it’s a great time to be providing dealers solutions.

We are looking for star performers and have a compensation package consisting of monthly commissions, corporate benefit package (medical, dental, vision, 401K, stock purchase plan, FSA, HSA), paid vacation and paid mileage. No holidays, No Sundays and no long weekends required. Your first year could be a $100K+ income opportunity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Seek out new clients and develop existing client relationships by networking to find new customers and generate lists of prospective clients
  • Explain features, advantages and disadvantages of various products to promote sale of automotive/RV warranty products
  • Service F&I Managers in RV and Auto dealerships to explain plans, to analyze and to suggest additions or changes to their selling technique. Explain necessary bookkeeping requirements for dealer to implement and provide program.
  • Confer with clients to obtain and provide information when claims are made on a policy. Monitor insurance claims to ensure they are settled equitable for both the client and the insurer.
  • Attend meetings, seminars, and programs to learn about new products and services, learn new skills, and receive technical assistance in developing new accounts.
  • Ability to train F&I managers on our income development plan

Required Skills

  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Experience working with automotive financing and warranty coverage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Some travel required to meet clients (~25%)
