Job Summary

American Claims Management, Inc.  is seeking a motivated Auto Claims Manager to join our team in  Alpharetta, GA. This leadership position will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of a team comprised of 7-8 claim professionals adjudicating personal automobile claims. The Claims team will confirm coverage, determine negligence, identify exposures, gather/evaluate damages and negotiate settlements.  Our office will rely on you to lead the team toward achieving published quality and productivity goals, while providing coaching and development to assist the members of the team with reaching their full professional growth potential. In this role, the selected candidate will further be responsible for fostering a trusting and friendly work environment.

 

Essential Duties:

  • Participate with creating and communicating short- and long- term strategic plans and goals.
  • Collaborate with Claim Director and other claim leaders to create and implement effective workflows/processes.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and direction to the team.
  • Foster an environment of teamwork, commitment, productivity and superior quality.
  • Create and administer performance evaluations.
  • Assist with developing and administering training modules.
  • Complete required file quality reviews.
  • Conduct compliance audits.
  • Review and approve large loss reports prior to providing to client.
  • Oversee litigation calendar and ensure proper strategies are in place.
  • Resolve escalated customer calls.
  • Prepare written responses to Department of Insurance inquiries.
  • Participate with creating and communicating short- and long- term strategic plans and goals.
