Job Summary

Brown & Brown of Georgia, Inc—Duluth (moving to Alpharetta Spring 2019!) is growing and seeking an exceptional individual with proven discipline, and commitment to join our team as Assistant for our Commercial Insurance Lines Team.   Our clients include businesses in a variety of industries.  The Associate will work closely with the Commercial Lines Client Account Manager, Commercial Producers and other teammates to service new and existing accounts to achieve Agency sales goals and service standards.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Generate Certificates of Insurance according to policy wording
  • Enter information into the agency management system for new and prospective clients such as applications and attaching policies
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to department
  • Policy checking, Agency generated letters to client, etc.
  • Generate proposals for New Business
  • Follow up on expiration reports
  • Process endorsements and audits.

Required Skills


  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Clerical Experience with ability to multi-task, have good accuracy, proficient typing
  • Qualities that include being driven, self-starting, strong work ethic
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Georgia P&C license may be required once hired


  • Active Georgia P&C License
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Prior experience in Commercial Insurance
