Job Summary

Brown & Brown of Georgia, Inc—Alpharetta is growing and seeking an exceptional individual with proven discipline, and commitment to join our team as Assistant Account Manager for our Commercial Insurance Team.   Our clients include businesses in a variety of industries.  The Associate will work closely with the Commercial Lines Client Account Manager, Commercial Producers and other teammates to service new and existing accounts to achieve Agency sales goals and service standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare renewal letters and questionaire, follow up for quotes
  • Assist with marketing by gathering client information and sending and preparing applications
  • Completing Commercial Lines Checklist
  • Request experience modifications and worksheets from the bureau
  • Order loss runs
  • Proofread proposals, submissions, summaries, etc. for typographical errors
  • Set up Policy Files
  • Set Up Books for Policies when required
  • Prepare First Draft of Summary
  • Data Entry & Invoicing in AMS360
  • Bond Processing & Invoicing in AMS360
  • Process Routine Endorsement Requests
  • Issue Vehicle Identification Cards
  • Issue Certificates of Insurance (Account Manager responsible for setting up Master)
  • Photocopy
  • Order MVR’s when needed
  • Special Projects as assigned by the Account Manager/Executive
  • Special Projects as assigned by the Team Leader
  • All other duties as assigned

Required Skills

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 1+ years’ experience in Property & Casualty Insurance customer service, preferably in commercial lines
  • Georgia Property & Casualty License
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, proficient and accurate typing
  • Experience using TAM or AMS360 a HUGE PLUS!
  • High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree a Plus!
  • Clerical/Admin/Office Experience
  • Qualities that include being driven, self-starting, strong work ethic
