Hull & Company is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Executive to join its growing team in Stockton, California!  This can be a remote from home opportunity for the right candidate.

What You’ll Do:

  • Examine application forms, inspection reports, insurance maps, and medical reports
  • Work with Brokers to ensure all applications, policy documents, state filings, etc. are obtained, completed, and/or filed in accordance with applicable state laws
  • Prepare quotes, binders and SLA filings as needed or directed by the Broker
  • Provide full assistance and support for the sales and production process
  • Work with Brokers to review risks submitted by Producers, rate submissions for premium and terms, and issue written binders
  • Assist Broker with developing and cultivating carrier and brokerage relationships to place specific risks and grow a book of business
  • Issue and/or re-issue Certificates of Insurance
  • Foster and seek relationships with teammates across all levels of Hull & Company
  • Ensure compliance with government agencies and corporate policies and procedures
  • Attend training sessions, courses, etc. to maintain up-to-date skills
  • Always conduct the highest level of confidentiality
  • Other duties as needed

Required Skills

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Finance preferred
  • Pursuing a CIC or CPCU designation, or similar insurance coursework a plus
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a similar insurance support position
  • California P&C License
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
  • Ability to read, write, and speak in English
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
