Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced wholesale/program underwriting professional for an Account Executive position. The selected candidate must be able to work in a competitive client & broker focused environment, and be willing to handle all aspects of customer service & underwriting; including account qualification and rating. Admitted and E&S business within the commercial Property & Casualty arena.

Insurance Agency Admitted and Excess & Surplus Lines Property and Casualty experience is a must. We will train on our specific industry niches and expand your knowledge base. Required Skills

  • Commercial Property & Casualty Agency Experience
  • New York State Property and Casualty License
  • Experience with AMS360, a Plus
  • Excess & Surplus Lines Underwriting Experience (including E&S tax and Bordereaux reporting), a Plus
  • Attention to detail
  • Good judgment
  • Strong interpersonal & decision-making skills
  • Analytical and comprehension skills
  • Able to use Agency Management, Document management and Carrier Rating Systems
  • Able to follow underwriting guidelines
  • Able to work cohesively with managers and a team
