Marketing Representative

Location: West Palm Beach, FL
Job Summary:
The West Palm Beach Profit Center of Brown & Brown of Florida, Inc. is seeking an energetic marketing professional to interact with insurance carriers as well as producers and account managers to analyze policies, develop marketing strategies, negotiate pricing in an effort to increase sales at the profit center location, and increase value to clients by analyzing coverage and offering recommendations to broaden coverage. Successful candidate will possess ability to perform the below listed duties as well as other agency needs as they arise.
Required Competencies:
•Proficiency in all office applications as well as automation procedures, knowledge of Applied Systems a plus.
•Familiarity with insurance carrier websites, as well as online data entry.
•Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to new, higher priorities while maintaining workflow.
•Ability to leverage existing relationships with carriers to negotiate pricing for best results.
•Competitive nature within the framework of a team-work atmosphere to beat the competition.
•Property & Casualty Insurance license will be required, if not currently licensed.
Salary Range: Negotiable Depending on Experience
Relocation Expenses: Not Covered
