Director of Operations
Industry Consulting Group, Inc.
Location: Dallas, TX

Job Summary:
Under the direction of the ICG’s Executive Team, the Director of Operations will direct and lead multiple divisions and departments within our organization. Candidates should be adaptable to change with proven experience in operational execution in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

• Responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the operations of the company
• Ensure and improve the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of department and branch operations
• Work closely with staff evaluating their performance, developing their abilities and improving their overall performance
• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the financial affairs of the facility under the direction of the Profit Center Leader
• Prepare all requested financial budgets and forecasts/projections.
• Develop and manage a continuous improvement program within department and branch operations to meet quality benchmarks, cost reduction goals, complete and on-time delivery and production performance measures
• Measure the effectiveness of business process improvement initiatives and present findings and recommendations to senior management
• Develop a succession plan within department and branch operations
• Development of work assignments an overseeing those assignments for employees
• Work closely with Sales and Customer Service Teams to align business functions with service/product specifications
• Analyzes and reports various operation and customer data
• Manages and ensures compliance measurements are followed for various operations

Required Competencies:
• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
• 3-5 years of experience in business management and planning
• 3-5 years of experience in coaching/mentoring, process mapping, data analysis, problem solving, performance measurement and sustainability
• Demonstrated ability to work with limited supervision
• Proven ability to cope with conflict, stress and confidential situations
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with office computer equipment and software
• Candidate must be self-directed and highly motivated
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate others
• Experience in promoting customer service and teamwork oriented environment
• Ability the see “big picture” and small steps needed to achieve goals
• Creative problem solver
• Consistent, reliable attention to detail
• High energy level, abundant self-confidence, need to succeed
