    Assistant Account Manager - Commercial Lines - Richmond, VA

    Job Summary:

    Brown & Brown Insurance Agency of Virginia is seeking an experienced insurance professional to join our team as an assistant account manager! This role is part time, 30 hours a week.  This individual will be responsible for supporting the client servicing team as well as the sales team in the day to day servicing of client accounts. 

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Primary responsibility is to complete Certificates of Insurance for commercial clients at renewal, and as daily requests are received.
    • Prepares and mails documents for client distribution.
    • Renews policies following agency standards; verifies each renewal’s accuracy; ensures that all renewals are produced.
    • Maintains and updates electronic file in accordance with agency procedures.
    • Processes incoming mail, email and phone requests, responding promptly and accurately.
    • Assists clients in submitting claims and responds to customer inquiries about claim status.
    • Documents agency management system with accurate and thorough notes of each transaction for a client.

    Assistant Account Manager - Manassas, VA

    Job Summary:

    Brown & Brown Insurance Agency of Virginia, Inc. is looking for a customer service focused individual to join our growing Personal Lines department in an Assistant Account Manager capacity! This individual will be responsible for assisting in the compilation and preparation of marketing and underwriting data and have the ability to condense material into Excel worksheets as required by carriers.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Gain proficiency in the knowledge of Personal Lines insurance so as to identify risk exposures and applicable coverage.
    • Review quotations, policies, endorsements and audits for accuracy.
    • Preparation of binders, certificates, automobile ID cards, invoices and similar items.
    • Data entry of all applicable underwriting information, correspondence or all other client/carrier pertinent information into the profit center management system as required.
    • Assist other support staff and producers with any service related matters.
    • Keep Personal Lines Leader apprised of any service issues or problems.
    • Pursue a program of personal and professional development.
    • All other duties as assigned.
