    Account Manager - Commercial Lines - Phoenix, AZ

    Job Summary:

    Brown & Brown Insurance is seeking a motivated Account Manager to join our Commercial Lines Team. This individual will be based in Phoenix, AZ and act as the main client contact and account coordinator for an assigned book of business. We will rely on you to provide exceptional service for customer accounts and transactions, in support of the production and retention of the business. This position will further be responsible for building, expanding and solidifying relationships with clients at all levels with the company and lead appropriate resources to address the client’s needs, including risk identification and resolution of underwriting or policy issues, accounting issues, claims issues etc.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Lead the renewal process by obtaining, directly or indirectly, quotes and claims experience from various carriers.
    • Act as liaison between producer and client by obtaining exposure and operation updates, receiving renewal applications and ordering appropriate documents needed for renewal
    • Use discretionary judgement to negotiate and obtain quotes
    • Handle a diverse range of insurance products in the Commercial Lines arena.
    • Submit complete and accurate renewal information to the incumbent carrier(s)
    • Prepare Insurance Coverage Review
    • Bind coverage with the carrier(s) in accordance with the client’s instructions
    • Issue binders, auto id cards and order renewal certificates of insurance
    • Provide services or coordinate carrier services as needed for Claim reviews, Loss Control visits and services, and premium allocations.
    • Assisting Producers with any new business calls and implementation of new business for newly assigned accounts as a resource.
    • Investigate research and provide timely responses to all clients.
    • Attend all departmental service meetings.
    • Other duties as assigned

    Manager - Commercial Lines - Phoenix, AZ

This individual will be responsible for ensuring that all renewals and new business submissions are complete and out to market in a timely manner. We will rely on you to build relationships with underwriters, marketing representatives and other carrier liaisons, for the purpose of developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet Brown & Brown objectives for the Commercial Lines department.

     

    Responsibilites:

    • Marketing policies for each account generating over $5,000 in revenue.
    • Oversee the producer in training program.
    • Train marketing analysts on effective on-line rating for various applicable carriers.
    • Identify competitive carriers to send relevant submissions to them
    • Ensure that all quotes are accurate prior to being proposed by the producers.
    • Provide producers with pre-renewal surveys to strategize on upcoming renewals.
    • Collect inventory reports from producers in the office, consolidate, and send the report to Corporate 
    • Attend carrier and wholesale seminars to continually be informed of industry changes and developments.
    • Update agency appointments and search for new opportunities to write business.

    Regional Human Resources Business Partner

The individual in this role will provide leadership to the Human Resources operations of a defined region(s) while serving as a business partner to the operational and sales leaders within the region(s).

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

     

    • Collaborate to develop Human Resources strategies that support business best practices within an office and/or region and the rollout of said strategy.
    • Provide guidance and input on business unit restructure, workforce planning and succession planning
    • Understand the Brown & Brown structure, philosophy, and overall culture and work diligently to support all in the offices within the region.
    • Acts as an internal consultant by analyzing and recommending solutions to Human Resources issues relating to the assigned offices within the Region.
    • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the Human Resources group to develop solutions, programs and policies
    • Collaborates with offices to communicate change and develop training as requested.
    • Develops and provides leadership training/workshops as requested/needed within the Region.
    • Collaborate with Human Resource Leaders to recruit, train, and coach the Regional Specialist teammates
    • In conjunction with Regional and Location Leaders, and Regional Talent Acquisition Specialist, develop recruiting strategies based upon needs analysis, market conditions, and business strategy.
