This position works closely with Captive Consultants and Client Executives to assist in providing high quality customer service to assigned clients while gaining working knowledge about the insurance and captive insurance industry.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in preparing proposals, graphs and services plans for clients.
    • Maintain client files as respect to timelines/open items, accounting and audit records, and any other necessary file documentation.
    • Assist clients and carriers with day-to-day email, phone, fax and mail requests for policies, endorsements, audits, and accounting/billing.

    Account Executive - Benefits - Fort Collins, CO

    Job Summary:

    The Account Executive will seek out new accounts and provide service to existing accounts by assessing clients’ insurance needs and providing policies that will suit those needs. The Account Executive will develop clientele by networking to find new customers and generate prospect lists.

     

    Explain features, advantages, and disadvantages of various policies to promote sale of insurance plans. Interview prospective clients to obtain data about their financial resources and needs, the physical condition of the person or property to be insured, and to discuss existing coverage. Select carrier that offers type of coverage requested by client, contact underwriter, and submit completed forms to bind coverage. Acquire all information necessary for quote submission to underwriters. Prepare and present quotes to prospective clients. Call on clients to deliver and explain policy, to analyze their insurance program, and to suggest additions or changes. Confer with clients to obtain and provide information when claims are made and monitor claims to ensure they are settled equitably for both the client and the insurer. Attend meetings, seminars, and programs to stay up-to-date on new products and services, to learn new skills, and to receive technical assistance in developing new accounts.

    Candidate will be responsible for the handling of residential property claims. This is a desk adjusting position, no field work is involved.
