    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Include, but are not limited to):

    • Manage and retain existing book of business and pursue new opportunities for the book where appropriate.
    • Spend approximately 20-30% of the time outside the office with the customers.
    • Provide customer relations with all levels of client’s decision-makers as well as the day-to-day technical client representatives.
    • Receives and reviews expiration reports 120 days prior to expiration. Responsible for securing renewal information on a timely basis and preparing renewal specifications.
    • Solely responsible to secure quotations from carriers on renewal business and evaluate what will be presented to client, and ultimately makes the decision on placement of coverage.
    • Prepares proposals for renewals and meets with client for renewal presentation.
    • Consults and advises clients regarding renewal and marketing results.
    • Solely responsible for placement of coverage with carriers.
    • Develop and oversee customer service plans for each client and understand the needs of the customer.
    • Responsible for all routine change requests and questions from client during year.
    • Follow Agency guidelines, policies and procedures
    • Remain current on industry trends and information, new product development, legislation, coverage and technology.
    • Remain up to date with current market conditions and status of competition.
    • Responsible for supervision of anyone to whom above items may be given for processing, e.g. assistant account manager, technical assistant, receptionist, word processor, temporary help.
