    Job Summary:

    This individual is responsible for the day-to-day service of accounts assigned to them.  Working directly with the Producer and will at times meet with clients outside the office as required.  This individual is responsible for overseeing and guiding the Service Team within the Commercial Lines Department.

     

    Responsibilities: 

    • Manage and retain existing book of business and pursue new opportunities for the book where appropriate.                                   
    • Oversee and be responsible for overall day to day service on account.                                  
    • Provide customer relations with all levels of client’s decision-makers as well as the day-to-day technical client representatives.                                             
    • Follow up with customers to address their needs and resolve their problems/issues.                                     
    • Ensure the proper resources from within the organization are involved with the customer and introduce new products through the other core business groups where appropriate.                                   
    • Develop and oversee customer service plans for each client and understand the needs of the customer.                                            
    • Responsible for securing renewal information and preparation of renewal applications and submissions to go to market or to Marketing Department.

    Commercial Lines Account Manager - Rome, GA

    Job Summary:

    Brown & Brown of Georgia, Inc. is currently seeking a future position for an experienced Account Manager to join our Commercial Lines team  and servicing middle market accounts! Our Account Managers play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive superior service and we will rely on you for day-to-day service, which includes responding to client requests in a timely manner, maintaining accurate and organized account files, processing binders, and checking policies, endorsements and audits for accuracy. 

     

    Responsibilities: 

    • Answer and process all telephone requests.
    • Maintain account files in an orderly sequence according to established procedures.
    • Enter all required data into system to maintain current file data.
    • Review commercial applications, renewal requests and endorsements for adherence to underwriting authority and guidelines as established by the company’s carriers.
    • Prepare and process binders of insurance, policies, endorsements, certificates of insurance, audits and cancellations as defined in the company procedures manual as directed by CSR.
    • Secure loss runs and experience modification worksheets on assigned accounts.
    • Maintain suspense or follow-up system for correspondence/requests.
    • Process premium finance agreements as needed.
    • Assist client through preparation of Excel spreadsheets and premium breakdowns.
    • Develop and maintain strong technical knowledge of commercial lines coverage and rating.
    • Scanning and other clerical duties, as assigned.
    • Follow Agency guidelines, policies and procedures.
    • Manage Quality Control requirements; Maintain account files and oversee that documents are placed into appropriate sections for Quality Control guidelines.
