    Brown & Brown Insurance of Georgia-Duluth is growing and seeking an exceptional individual with proven discipline, and commitment to join our team as Account Executive for our Commercial Insurance Lines Division. Our clients include businesses in a variety of industries.  The Account Executive is responsible for retention and client relationship management. The Account Executive works in tandem with the Commercial Producer (Sales Agent) to develop account strategy and increase longevity and profitability for the company; utilizes company resources to collectively deliver solutions to clients.  The Account Executive is responsible for all aspects of managing and maintaining their commercial lines accounts. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

     

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Follows agency procedures for renewal workflow and timeline, encompassing internal meetings, gathering of information, preparation of submissions, identification of markets, following up for and comparing quotes, preparing proposals, presentation and post binding activity and documentation.
    • Participates in strategic internal and external meetings to generate innovative solutions for clients and provides recommendations for an array of commercial lines property & casualty insurance.
    • Participates in pre-renewal, renewal, stewardship, and claims review meetings with clients as necessary.
    • Responsible for maintaining accuracy of client files, and consistent documentation.
    • Identifies internal resources and utilizes them to effectively bring values to client.
    • Maintains excellent communication with team, internal and external clients at all stages of account cycle.
    • Provides sound recommendations and guidance to clients on insurance programs.
    • Strict adherence to procedures and deadlines; communicates the same needs to team.
    • Invoicing and collection of premiums in timely manner in accordance with agency procedures.
    • Prompt response to all client requests including expedited requests for policy documentation, such as certificates and ID cards

    Human Resources Leadership Program - Syracuse, NY

    Job Summary:

    Brown & Brown Insurance Inc.’s Human Resources Leadership Program allows individuals to learn about Human Resources in the insurance industry while growing and developing the skills necessary to be a leader within our ever-growing company. The Leadership Program is a two-to-three year training program based in Syracuse, NY designed to prepare individuals for a successful future within Brown & Brown. Teammates in the Leadership Program travel to many of our 200+ decentralized locations performing audits based on processes and procedures within the Human Resources discipline.     Initial relocation to Syracuse, NY is required for the two-to-three year period.     • Assist with FLSA evaluations of job positions of all existing offices.
    • Assist with transition of documentation of job positions and job evaluation systems for all existing offices.
    • Analyze, auditor and review payroll processes.
    • Provide advice, assistance and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation.
    • Recommend and advise on maintenance of human resource, payroll, and benefits systems.
    • Recommend policy and procedural improvements for all existing offices.
