    • Implement new and renewal business set-up in agency management system. 
    • Prepare proposals for new and renewal business and generate quotes for new lines of coverage for existing clients. 
    • Actively participate in cross-selling opportunities and cross-department referrals as well as proactively striving to increase client retention.

    Commercial Lines Account Manager

    Job Summary:

    Brown & Brown of Kentucky is seeking an Account Manager for their Commercial Lines division! The Account Manager will assist in the production of new accounts and the retention of existing accounts of our commercial insurance clients. The Account Manager will provide prompt, efficient, high-quality service to designated accounts in support of producer and agency activities.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

    • Responsible for gathering information and risk management recommendations for the renewal of designates accounts 120 days prior to renewal and for the assembly and delivery of said renewal and/or binders for designated accounts, as needed, within five days or receipt.
    • After reviewing updated client exposure survey information, obtains other renewal information from insured, and completes applications for designated renewal business sixty days before renewal.
    • Receives phone calls and/or office visitors requesting quotes, changes to existing coverage and/or new policies.  Completes changes/requests within 24 hours of receipt.  Determines acceptability and placement, completes applications or endorsements, and collects premium when applicable.
    • Reviews existing accounts to determine if additional lines of insurance should be soliciting and does so by mail, email and/or phone prior or renewal.
    • Reviews renewals to determine if non-standard policies can be rewritten in a standard program. Prepares rewrite applications for business through companies no longer represented at least 120 days prior to renewal. Secures and submits requires renewal underwriting information.
    • Conducts periodic service calls (minimum of quarterly) for designated accounts.
    • Performs special projects at the request of designated clients after being approved by manager. Binders and/or policy or endorsement requests are to be completed within 24 hours of date quoted to client.
    • Maintain a concern for timeliness and completeness when interacting with customers, agency, and company personnel to minimize potential for errors & omission claims.
    • Receives and reviews all terminations and cancellations to determine action to be taken and takes needed action immediately upon receipt.
    • Handles premium collection though forms, letters, and request cancellation of policies when necessary
    • Follows up on outstanding claims and provides assistance in their resolution, as necessary
    • Solicits expiration dates for policies not written by agency. Expectations are an average of one expiration date per client served.
    • Actively seeks referrals from current client base to solicit new business prospects; Expectation of five referrals per week that will be turned into Marketing Manager.
    • Documents all material conversations with insured and/or carriers regarding exposures and coverage.
    • Perform other functions as assigned by management

    Human Resources Audit Lead - Syracuse, NY

    • Provide advice, assistance and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation.
    • Recommend and advise on maintenance of human resource, payroll, and benefits systems.
    • Recommend policy and procedural improvements for all existing offices.

    Insurance Marketing Specialist (Commercial Lines) - Columbia, KY

This role will be key in conducting analysis of market research information and advising the team on industry standards and trends. Our team will further rely on you to develop creative strategies based on the analysis, which will lead to the production of new and renewal business. Decisions regarding strategy and problem solving are made independently of direction or otherwise established guidelines. 

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

    • Analyze market information in order to develop, design, and implement creative strategies for sales team members and customers 
    • Monitor, identify, and develop new methods, new markets, and new opportunities 
    • Coordinate the implementation of research project plans and prepare status update reports and presentations 
    • Service the designated book of business as it relates to marketing, claims, administration, and sales 
    • Semi-Annual self-review completion on any pertinent accounts 
    • Participation in QC Review Process 
    • Partner with AMIG to renew or write accounts using our binding authority 
    • Perform other duties as assigned
