    Brown & Brown of Massachusetts, LLC is currently looking for a customer service focused individual to join our team in Dedham, MA in an Account Manager capacity! The Account Manager will work with the Commercial Lines department and be responsible for the review of commercial applications, renewal requests and endorsements for adherence to underwriting authority along with guidelines as established by the company’s carriers.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Process daily mail, including faxes and e-mail, for assigned accounts
    • Answer and process all telephone requests for assigned accounts
    • Maintain account files in an orderly sequence according to established procedures
    • Secure Insurance Coverage Review checklist on New and Renewal accounts over $2,500 in revenue
    • Enter all required data into system to maintain current file data on assigned accounts
    • Handle renewal marketing of accounts
    • Attend carrier and industry meetings and seminars
    • Prepare and process binders of insurance, policies, and endorsements, certificates of insurance, audits, and cancellations as defined in the company procedures manual
    • Pursue a program of personal and professional development
    • Develop and maintain working relationship with various company marketing representatives and underwriters
    • Maintain favorable relationship with clients, Producers, and fellow employees
    • Develop and maintain strong technical knowledge of commercial lines coverage & rating
    • Perform clerical functions when assigned

    Brown & Brown of Massachusetts, LLC is seeking a motivated Account Executive to join our Dedham, MA office! This individual will partner with the Brown & Brown Employee Benefits team to provide clients with the highest possible level of service regarding all aspects of their group insurance coverages during the renewal process as well as ongoing throughout the plan year.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensures that all information required for the client’s renewal period is gathered in a timely and accurate manner for quoting purposes involving both renewal rates generated by the carrier and renewal rates using online systems.
    • Prepares renewal materials including Word documents, PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy by reviewing and proofreading all materials.
    • Assists with meeting preparation by scheduling appropriate participants ensuring timely delivery of renewal information.
    • Assists with renewal implementation including confirmation letters, applications, enrollment forms, waivers, and termination letters. Drafts employee communications, open election forms and benefit summaries.
    • Serves as first level of response with regard to client issues ensuring client satisfaction and appropriate follow-up. Keeps Account Executive informed of all situations and resolutions.
    • Ensures that all client files are kept current and complete.
    • Develops and maintains solid knowledge of insurance coverages and carrier information by proactively attending carrier provided training sessions and reading carrier generated communications as well as attending internal meetings and information sessions.

    Account Manager - Personal Lines - Dedham, MA

    Job Summary:

    Brown & Brown is seeking a dedicated client servicing professional to join our Personal Lines team! This individual will provide superior and friendly service to clients by responding to their inquiries and addressing their needs, by matching them to the products and services our agency provides.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Answer phone calls, assist clients with all service, claims and billing related questions.
    • Process policy changes, review gaps in coverage, suggest new coverages, and rewrite to protect retention for the agency and provide satisfaction to the client.
    • Review each renewal to find gaps, areas to round out accounts.
    • Quote new business and new lines of coverage for existing clients.
    • Prepare applications, coverage checklists and commission disclaimers for insureds’ signatures.
    • Call clients for review of coverages/suggest new costimators, update file information.
    • Process and send new policies to clients.
    • Follow up on Personal Lines Survey letters if applicable.
    • Issue coverage confirmations when downgrading or removing coverage.
    • Document phone conversations in Activity Log.
    • Check all renewals, endorsements, etc. from carrier for accuracy and document in Applied.
    • Keep record of new, rewritten and cancelled policies by month for manager.

    Accounting Leader In Training - Dedham, MA

    Job Summary:

    Brown & Brown is seeking a dynamic finance professional to fill the Accounting Leader Trainee position within our Dedham, MA location. This trainee role is structured to train and develop all aspects of the Accounting department within Brown & Brown to the selected individual, to ensure that he/she will be able to execute independently as an Accounting and Operations Leader in one of our many offices throughout the Northeastern United States.

     

    The trainee will work closely with the Profit Center Accounting Leader to develop and maintain accurate and timely financial reports along with other reports as needed.  Our team will rely on you to assist the Profit Center Accounting Leader and other members of the accounting department as necessary, while executing the Accounting Leader Trainee development tracking checklist. 

     

    This role requires travel and will be based in Dedham, MA for 1-3 years. Once the training has been successfully completed, this individual will be expected to relocate.
