    Job Summary:

    Brown & Brown is seeking a dedicated client servicing professional to join our Personal Lines team! This individual will provide superior and friendly service to clients by responding to their inquiries and addressing their needs, by matching them to the products and services our agency provides. 

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Answer phone calls, assist clients with all service, claims and billing related questions.
    • Process policy changes, review gaps in coverage, suggest new coverages, and rewrite to protect retention for the agency and provide satisfaction to the client.
    • Review each renewal to find gaps, areas to round out accounts.
    • Quote new business and new lines of coverage for existing clients.
    • Prepare applications, coverage checklists and commission disclaimers for insureds’ signatures.
    • Call clients for review of coverages/suggest new costimators, update file information.
    • Process and send new policies to clients.
    • Follow up on Personal Lines Survey letters if applicable.
    • Issue coverage confirmations when downgrading or removing coverage.
    • Document phone conversations in Activity Log.
    • Check all renewals, endorsements, etc. from carrier for accuracy and document in Applied.
    • Keep record of new, rewritten and cancelled policies by month for manager.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    This position will include training on  Brown & Brown accounting processes as well as specific business practices and methodologies of Strategic Benefit Advisors.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage accounting operations including monthly close, management reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, etc.
    • Prepare financial statements, business activity reports, financial position forecasts, annual budgets, and/or reports required by the corporate office.
    • Develop, prepare, implement, and ensure compliance to internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities such as budget administration, cash and credit management, and accounting operations to align with corporate internal audit guidelines.
    • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
    • Analyze financial details to identify development opportunities and areas where improvement is needed.
    • Primarily responsible for financial operations internal audits and ensure accounting operations are complaint with corporate guidelines.
    • Research technical accounting issues for compliance.

    Assistant (Personal Insurance) - Dedham, MA

    Job Summary:

    Brown & Brown Insurance is seeking an enthusiastic insurance professional to join our growing Personal Lines division! This individual will support our client servicing team in handling various client servicing functions. This role is full time, permanent, and benefits eligible!

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the compilation and preparation of marketing and underwriting data and have the ability to condense material into Excel worksheets as required by carriers.
    • Enter endorsement items into the Agency Management System (TAM).
    • Verify for accuracy and bill all endorsements received from carriers.
    • Follow up on overdue items.
    • Process all requests for vehicle changes; issue ID cards accordingly; issue binders for leased vehicle requests; issue forms and follow up.
    • Complete data entry of all applicable underwriting information, correspondence or all other client/carrier pertinent information into the profit center management system as required.
    • Assist other support staff and producers with any service related matters.
    • Keep Personal Lines Leader apprised of any service issues or problems.
    • Verify new policies for accuracy according to the policy checklist, bill policy accordingly, and mail the policy to the insured.
    • Transpose all pertinent data from new and renewal policies into TAM and verify accuracy of info.
    • Scan according to procedures information received from insured’s, carriers, etc.
