    Job Summary:

    Brown & Brown of Pennsylvania is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our Property & Casualty Healthcare Division! This individual will handle all client matters with regard to preparation of marketing proposals and renewal material for potentially new accounts and assigned accounts in the Commercial Lines Healthcare department.

    Responsibilities are in the analysis of medical malpractice market information research and account management and client service to the sales team using a variety of skills and knowledge of the insurance market, products and competition. Creative strategies based on this analysis should lead to retention of existing business and assistance in production of new business.

     

    Responsibilities: 

    • Analyze market information to develop, design and implement creative strategies for customers and sales team members. Must have foundation in placement of medical malpractice insurance, placement of other P&C coverages associated with healthcare related risks a plus.
    • Provide customer relations with all levels of client decision makers as well as the day-to-day technical client representatives. Follow up to address customer needs and resolve any problems or issues.
    • Manage and retain existing book of business and pursue new opportunities for the book, where appropriate.
    • Prepare customer renewals including proposals and presentations while ensuring agreement with customers’ requests/requirements.
    • Present proposal to customer, ensuring appropriate team members and resources are represented/attend.
    • Monitor, identify and develop new methods, new markets, and new opportunities.
    • Compliance with corporate Insurance Operations/Quality Control guidelines. Performs in a manner that will prevent errors and omissions.
    • Out of state or country travel to client meetings when necessary.

IT responsibilities include overseeing the 3rd party vendor and IT administrator.     •  Complete accurate general accounting functions, such as, Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
    • Track aging A/R revenue for company and clients
    • Accurately account for cash receipts, preparing deposits and entering deposit into accounting system
    • Handle all matters relating to company bank accounts including bank reconciliations, bank account funding, abandoned property, stop pays, deposits
    • Monitor/verify FEINs with W-9s
    • Request, track and process excess reimbursements.
