    Account Executive - Property & Casualty Healthcare - Conshohocken, PA

    Job Summary:

    Brown & Brown of Pennsylvania is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our Property & Casualty Healthcare Division! This individual will handle all client matters with regard to preparation of marketing proposals and renewal material for potentially new accounts and assigned accounts in the Commercial Lines Healthcare department.

    Responsibilities are in the analysis of medical malpractice market information research and account management and client service to the sales team using a variety of skills and knowledge of the insurance market, products and competition. Creative strategies based on this analysis should lead to retention of existing business and assistance in production of new business.

     

    Responsibilities: 

    • Analyze market information to develop, design and implement creative strategies for customers and sales team members. Must have foundation in placement of medical malpractice insurance, placement of other P&C coverages associated with healthcare related risks a plus.
    • Provide customer relations with all levels of client decision makers as well as the day-to-day technical client representatives. Follow up to address customer needs and resolve any problems or issues.
    • Manage and retain existing book of business and pursue new opportunities for the book, where appropriate.
    • Prepare customer renewals including proposals and presentations while ensuring agreement with customers’ requests/requirements.
    • Present proposal to customer, ensuring appropriate team members and resources are represented/attend.
    • Monitor, identify and develop new methods, new markets, and new opportunities.
    • Compliance with corporate Insurance Operations/Quality Control guidelines. Performs in a manner that will prevent errors and omissions.
    • Out of state or country travel to client meetings when necessary.

    Accounting Leader (In Training) - Conshohocken ,PA

    Job Summary:

    Brown & Brown is looking for a dynamic finance professional to fill the Accounting Manager Trainee position within our Rocky Hill location.

     

    This trainee role is structured to train and develop a talented teammate to grow into an Accounting and Operations Leader in one of our many offices throughout the Northeastern United States. This role requires travel, will be based in Conshohocken, PA for 1-3 years, and then this individual will be expected to relocate.

     

    The Accounting and Operations Leader will serve on the management team and lead a team of 2-6 employees in our Accounting, IT and Administrative departments. A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required, and leadership experience is preferred. Excellent communication skills are a requirement of the position. The Accounting and Operations Leader will be responsible for all aspects of the offices Accounting and HR Functions. Additionally, the Accounting and Operations Leader will serve as a liaison to our third-party IT team to ensure the offices needs are being met.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist the broker, ensuring that all required information is obtained, proper applications are completed, quotes and binders are confirmed in writing.
    • Assist the broker in promptly and accurately issuing policies and endorsements while ensuring state filings are made, and taxes paid in accordance with appropriate state laws.
    • Communicate with both the carrier’s renewal team as well as the retail agent to ensure all required renewal items are received by the retail agent no later than 90 days from expiration.
    • Communicate with the Broker for remarket renewals before the market is blocked and convey any change in renewal terms from previous years and any change in coverage and/or forms.
    • Review indications, quotes, binders, submissions and policies for accuracy and completeness.
    • Keep carrier contacts (Underwriter’s info, submission email addresses, phone numbers) up to date for our carrier partners.
