    Job Summary:

    Brown & Brown is looking for a customer service focused individual to join our growing Commercial Lines department in an Account Manager capacity! This individual will also be responsible for the review of commercial applications, renewal requests and endorsements for adherence to underwriting authority and guidelines as established by the company’s carriers.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Process daily mail, including faxes and e-mail, for assigned accounts.
    • Answer and process all telephone requests for assigned accounts,.
    • Maintain account files in an orderly sequence according to established procedures.
    • Secure Insurance Coverage Review checklist on New and Renewal accounts over $2,500 in revenue.
    • Enter all required data into system to maintain current file data on assigned accounts.
    • Handle renewal marketing of accounts.
    • Attend carrier and industry meetings and seminars.
    • Prepare and process binders of insurance, policies, and endorsements, certificates of insurance, audits, and cancellations as defined in the company procedures manual.
    • Pursue a program of personal and professional development.
    • Develop and maintain working relationship with various company marketing representatives and underwriters.
    • Maintain favorable relationship with clients, Producers, and fellow employees.
    • Develop and maintain strong technical knowledge of commercial lines coverage & rating.
    • Perform clerical functions when assigned.

    Accounting Assistant - Entry Level - Conshohocken, PA

    • Complete accurate general accounting functions, such as, Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
    • Track aging A/R revenue for company and clients
    • Accurately account for cash receipts, preparing deposits and entering deposit into accounting system
    • Handle all matters relating to company bank accounts including bank reconciliations, bank account funding, abandoned property, stop pays, deposits
    • Monitor/verify FEINs with W-9s

    Collections Associate - Conshohocken, PA

    Brown & Brown of Pennsylvania is seeking an associate level Collections Specialist to join our team! This individual will be responsible for collection of premiums and finance balances due from clients. 

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Collecting account balances via mail, email and phone.
    • Respond to high volume of services calls regarding payments over the phone, billing questions and past due payments.
    • Process credit card and electronic payments online when clients call with information
    • Generate and send intent to cancel requests to clients with past due balances
    • Follows up with Account Managers in getting policies cancelled if insured does not pay in predetermined number of days
    • Provide a report of open client receivables to Account Managers and Commercial
    • Lines Leader on a weekly basis (at a minimum) to assist them in their collection effort and account monitoring
    • Complete payment form as needed and notify Accounting Assistant of payment
    • Sets up finance agreements, sends out payment coupons, accepts intent to cancel for finance company.
    • Monitor Accounts Receivable for return premiums due insured, finance company or carrier and send check request to Accounts Payable Specialist.
    • Provides accurate information to co-workers within 24 hours, shares expe1tise with others, and offers assistance as needed.
