    Internal Audit Senior/Team Leader - Roseland, NJ

    Job Summary:

    Exciting opportunity in Financial Leadership of a $2 Billion, high growth, profitable company with responsibilities to the Regional Director of Financial Operations. Position involves financial and compliance review, acquisition due diligence, and significant recruiting and mentoring. Brown & Brown maintains a unique, decentralized, entrepreneurial culture where over 70% of current team members have stock ownership.


    • Prepare and review the various sections of the audit programs for Integrated, Financial, Cash, and Financial Team Leader reviews
    • Manage the day to day operations of the field work and track the teams’ progression to the completion of review
    • Prepare and review the Draft Report and Final Report before issuance to relevant parties
    • Assist with recruiting and training of Internal Audit Team Members
    • Foster the growth of individual team members and assist Regional Director with performance review process/goal setting for Internal Audit Team Members
    • Recruit applicants, process resumes, and hold interviews alongside the Regional Director
    • Perform Due Diligence for potential acquisitions as required
    • Perform other specific duties and projects as assigned

    Required Competencies:
    • Bachelors in Accounting or Finance or MBA
    • 2-4 years public accounting or internal audit experience
    • Strong analytical skills
    • High degree of self-discipline and motivation    
    • Good written and effective oral communication skills
    • Pursuit of technical educations required and should have or actively be seeking CPA or CIA and various insurance designations
    • Willing and able to travel up to 30%
    • Well-groomed and neat appearance
    • Organized and very detail oriented

    Salary Range: Negotiable
    Relocation Expenses: Not Covered
