Commercial Lines Account Administrator - Middle to Large
Location: Anaheim, CA
The Commercial Lines Account Administrator supports 5 Account Managers to help maintain everyday workflow and manage routine transactions for client accounts. In addition, this person assists with monthly account renewal tasks, including remarketing and proposal preparation. This position is for a highly motivated person who is looking for a career opportunity and potential for advancement within the insurance industry. The ideal candidate would possess the ability to quickly learn new systems and applications, be a self-starter with good organizational and multi-tasking skills. They must be able to work in a fast-paced working environment and posses the ability to prioritize and work independently and as part of a team. They must be able to communicate professionally with their peers, producers, clients, company underwriters and agents. They must become familiar with all aspects of insurance services from the application process to policy analysis. The qualified candidate will be assisting 5-6 Account Managers who service middle to large sized accounts. Day to day servicing would include policy checking, processing certificates of insurance, endorsements, and handling miscellaneous requests and follow-ups. Excellent word processing skills and a basic knowledge of Excel are a must. We utilize the AMS360 system. While knowledge of this system is a plus, we will certainly offer training. Hold an active CA P&C license • Minimum of 2 years of P&C insurance experience • Strong organizational skills • Strong sense of urgency to meet multiple deadlines • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to multi-task projects and prioritize • Ability to grasp an understanding of commercial lines insurance coverages and forms • Self-motivated and results oriented • Proactive • Team Player
Salary Range: Negotiable
Account Administrators receive a base salary that is negotiated depending on the background and experience of each applicant. In addition to the base salary, Brown & Brown offers a full employee benefit offering that includes 401k plan, an employee stock purchase plan, medical, dental vision and other voluntary products.
